faye webster hosted a chess tournament featuring tyler, the creator + has such a fun history with the game ♟️

not only is faye onto her second year of the faye webster invitational that takes place next month, but she even just got her own bot on chess.com 

last year though the tournament saw the likes of tyler, lionel boyce (the bear, project hail mary), and more in atlanta — with this year's competition moving to LA and now includes the biggest chess website as a partner

pictured throughout the slides you can also see webster play against daniel caesar and teezo touchdown, and her event even includes yo yo and pokemon divisions depending on your interests

there aren’t many music events that i feel true fomo for, but if you’re in LA, i am envious that you get the chance to be a part of such a cool collision of culture
