Bus driver Ricki Reid has become a local legend on the 106 route between Finsbury Park and Whitechapel, with children reportedly calling his bus the 'bubble bus' after he began blowing bubbles from his cab.⁠

But operator Go-Ahead London has now asked Ricki to stop using his bubble gun, citing unspecified safety considerations.⁠

A spokesperson said: “Ricki has stopped blowing bubbles following some safety considerations, so he isn't available for interview on this topic at the moment.”⁠
