The Simpsons creator Matt Groening has teased that the iconic video game The Simpsons: Hit & Run could make a comeback more than 20 years after its original release.⁠

Speaking about the possibility of its return, Groening said:⁠

💬 “I think the original games is coming back in some form”⁠
⁠
The fan-favourite game was first released in 2003 and followed the Simpson family as players explored Springfield, completed missions and caused plenty of chaos along the way.⁠

While Groening’s comments suggest something could be in the works, exactly what form a potential return could take has not yet been confirmed.⁠
