This is a salute to YOU, and all the guys that paved the  way for a BLACK BOYA LIKE me to do something in this  space ….on YouTube, Instagram, etc. etc,

Even the ones …who thought my style was wack, or thought I got it easy, or just didn’t mess with me from the jump 🖤

Without you - and those similar…there are no ME’S.

I know that. In all era’s of my journey, I speak that around this PLANET.

all of those hard working black male background dancers THE OG’S - 

 the ones we saw at the VMAs, BET awards, 106 and park , MTV spring bling, the epic world tours….

We, including myself, always pay homage to the ones that made it on TV or had the 

bigger names on dance shows or dance movies 

but there are some really SOME GREAT MEN 

who never get that light shined on them….

#Legends who knocked the doors down for me to be able to walk through them. 

My whole life all I wanted to do was two things. 

Make it to the NFL OR have a career 
as a backup dancer. 

When reality said in that one of those things wasn’t gonna happen, I went fully in on the other. 

I studied, I invested all of my money on making it happen, and I researched the Kings who came before me to pave the way for people like me

I met and danced for and collaborated with a lot of my childhood heroes, people that I idolized.

Keeping it funky some of the contacts in my phone are my favorite a list, artist’s of all time. 

I did the thing I danced for some of them, choreographed for some of them, worked behind the scenes on TV shows and films with some of them got the hat got the postcard got the memory - ✍🏿

That’s not a flex. It’s perspective. 

For me the goal was to do exactly what you have done and were doing when I was a kid.

So to see you now, to feel your presence in this place, and to watch you STILL reinventing and leveling up 🆙
