Today, we kicked off a special weekend for Yala Greek Ice Cream with DCScores alumna and Ward 4 Councilmember @janeese4dc. Councilmember Lewis George was part of DC SCORES’ first class of poet-athletes—making it a meaningful, full-circle moment. DC SCORES provides free programming that brings together soccer, poetry and service learning for more than 3,500 young people across the District.

Tomorrow, for every 100 orders placed at Yala Greek Ice Cream Georgetown and Conrad Washington, DC, we’ll provide an ice cream social for DC SCORES. We’ll also celebrate our first birthday and National Ice Cream Day in Georgetown with four limited-batch flavors, giveaways and the Spain–Argentina match on a large screen outside.
