Where I'm from...the cast metal jig is a staple.  Decades of culture, experiences and fish catching.  It's mainly a SoCal phenomenon, but I've taken them all over the country and world and experienced some incredible fishing with them outside of SoCal. 

What's your favorite jig of all time? A few of mine are represented on this wall, you go first. 

With the challenges of procuring live bait for the fleet in 2026, more attention is shifting to artificial lure options. Both new as well as legacy options like surface and yoyo style jigs are getting some reps in and I love to see it!  Fooling these fish with an artificial is where my heart is and I'm hyped to see more people embrace new lures and techniques even if they've been around for decades.
