#TSRPrayersUp: #Roomies, residents in Gary, Indiana, are speaking out after thousands were left without power for nearly a week following severe storms that caused widespread damage across Northwest Indiana. According to the ChicagoSunTimes, several streets in Gary were still covered with downed trees Monday, while most traffic lights remained out. Crews were working to restore damaged power lines as residents cleaned up debris around their homes. As of Monday afternoon, more than 100,000 Northwest Indiana residents were still without power, according to NIPSCO. More than 300,000 people reportedly lost electricity during the storms.
