A Chinese electric SUV just pulled off a stunt that looks more like a Hollywood action scene than something a production vehicle should be able to do. 🤯

Voyah’s Passion S reportedly entered a closed test tunnel in Wuhan at around 130 km/h before approaching the curved wall at a precise 16° steering angle. The SUV then climbed onto the wall, traveled completely upside down across the ceiling, and completed a full 360° loop before landing upright again.

The stunt required extremely precise control. Voyah says that if the vehicle’s speed dropped by just 3–5 km/h below the required level, it could have lost traction during the inverted section.

Under the hood, the dual-motor AWD setup delivers 637 horsepower and 765 Nm of torque. The SUV also features an 800V silicon-carbide electrical architecture, while an active cooling system helped maintain performance throughout the demanding maneuver.

What makes the stunt even more impressive is the vehicle’s size. The Passion S is over 5 meters long, carries a 98.1 kWh battery, and the AWD version offers up to 700 km of CLTC-rated range.

According to Voyah, the SUV completed the stunt with its full battery pack and standard driver-assistance hardware, without any weight-reduction modifications. The company also claims it is the first standard production vehicle to complete this type of tunnel loop, although that record has not been independently verified.

The stunt was inspired by the iconic Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG tunnel-loop commercial from 2010, but this time the vehicle attempting the feat was a massive electric SUV.
