femke_bol’s 🇳🇱 first year in the 800m couldn’t be going any better, as the Dutch hurdler finishes just 0.07 seconds behind European champ Audrey Werro 🇨🇭in the Lausanne Diamond League 800m with a strong kick and a 1:55.41 finish, knocking another tenth off her PB to officially claim the Dutch national record.

Broeders-Bol equaled Ellen Van Langen’s 34-year-old mark in the final of the European Championships, and now she’s the sole record holder and 18th on the all-time list.
