## Caption

When I realized my son Brandon was academically advanced, I started holding him to a very high standard. 

I’ve always told him that having ability is one thing, but having the discipline to maximize that ability is something completely different.

Then I started graduate school… and the tables turned. 😂

Brandon would ask me, “Dad, let me see your grades.”

That’s when I realized something: I couldn’t hold him to a standard that I wasn’t willing to hold myself to.

So earning a 4.0 GPA in graduate school with honors, makes the accomplishment mean so much more.

The lessons Im trying to teach him is, hard work can never be replaced  and never be afraid to be the best version of yourself.
