🚣‍♀️ Gaels bring the heat to Henley! 🚣‍♀️

Queen’s student-athletes made their mark at the 142nd Royal Canadian Henley Regatta in St. Catharines, Ontario, with five gold-medal performances across men’s and women’s events. 

🥇 Nigel Radhakrishnan captured gold in the U23 Lightweight Men’s Single Scull before teaming up with Liam Shapland to win the U23 Lightweight Men’s Double Scull.

🥇 Dennis Ovdiyenko claimed two titles, winning the Senior Lightweight Men’s Four alongside Markus Muller, Liam Shapland and James Cuff, before adding another gold in the Senior Lightweight Men’s Pair with Alex Ladage.

🥇 Jacquie Groenewegen, Ceilidh MacDonald, Julia Schuurmans and Abby Speirs powered to gold in the Senior Women’s Four, winning by more than eight seconds.
