Following on the heels of the Aug. 12 solar eclipse is a lunar eclipse on Aug. 27 that offers yet another cosmic spectacle.

The partial lunar eclipse won’t be quite as awe-inspiring as the summer solar eclipse, but it could still be worth your time. As it moves into the Earth’s shadow, the full moon begins to turn a shade of red. Unlike during a total lunar eclipse, the moon won’t go completely dark.
