Week 2 tested the Huskies.
Winnipeg came to JP Bowl ready to fight, and Edmonton had to earn every yard, every point and every minute of that victory.
When it was over:
HUSKIES 38. RIFLES 28.
It wasn’t easy.
It wasn’t supposed to be.
But the Huskies found a way to finish, protected home turf and moved to 2–0.

The Edmonton Wildcats didn’t simply win last weekend.
THEY KNOCKED OFF THE #1 RANKED NATIONAL CHAMPION SASKATOON HILLTOPS.

The Wildcats went into Saskatoon and took down the reigning champs, 28–22.
That is a statement.
That is momentum.
