What happens when health workers lose their lives in an attack? And what happens to the families waiting for them to come home?

What happens to their hopes for a peaceful future?

Ahmad Al-Sahhar was 28, a son, brother, doctor, husband, and dreamer. Medicine was his childhood dream. As a pediatrician in Gaza he wanted to dedicate his life caring for children. But life took a cruel turn. 

On 21 November 2023, Dr Ahmad was at Al-Awda Hospital in Gaza when the hospital got attacked and he lost his life alongside two of his colleagues. 

Today, Ahmed’s elder brother’s message to the world is simple.
“Save what remains of life. We are people who love life. We feel, we dream, and we want the chance to live those dreams.”
