Samantha Knoll and Alex Kreig met at Illinois, where they studied engineering, launched a company together and began building a future neither could have completely predicted.

“The U. of I. has given me a lot—my career, how I think, who I am as a person,” Alex says. “But I always go back to how it gave me my best and favorite gift, which is that I met my best friend who then became my wife.”
