Lucy Bedroque’s world doesn’t stop when the music does ✍️🔥

A huge part of what makes Lucy’s artistry feel so personal is how hands-on he is with the imagery surrounding it, even illustrating his own cover art and carrying those drawings into a larger visual language. From the hand-drawn artwork surrounding releases like ‘SISTERHOOD’ to the imagery attached to “SPEED DEMON,” it feels less like separate cover art and more like pieces of the same universe 🧩

That universe gets even deeper with “SPEED DEMON.” Lucy pulled inspiration from the surreal 1977 Japanese horror film House (Hausu) for its music video, fitting perfectly with the more horror-driven direction he’s said he wanted to explore visually.

In an era where artwork, videos and music can easily be handed off to completely different creative teams, there’s something special about watching an artist build so much of their world themselves. Lucy isn’t just developing a recognizable sound, they’re creating a visual language to go with it 🤝

What are your thoughts on his recent releases? 🤔
