Crypto looks cautious.

The infrastructure does not.

Bitcoin is trading around $63,400 this morning as renewed geopolitical uncertainty around the US and Iran brings oil and inflation risk back into focus. (CoinDesk)

Last week also delivered a warning.

US spot Bitcoin ETFs lost roughly $390 million, their largest weekly withdrawal in six weeks. (CoinDesk)

Institutional demand is real.

It is not automatic.

But underneath the market weakness, something much larger is happening.

The White House is preparing to bring together Coinbase, Gemini, Ripple, Polymarket, Nasdaq, CME, the New York Stock Exchange, the SEC, and CFTC as Washington pushes forward on digital asset market structure. (Investor’s Business Daily)

Traditional finance and crypto are no longer standing on opposite sides of the system.

They are beginning to design the next version together.

Bitcoin may continue behaving like a volatile liquidity asset.

Blockchain is becoming something different.

Infrastructure.

The next crypto cycle may not begin with a meme coin explosion.

It may begin when investors realize the financial system continued moving onchain while everyone was staring at the price chart.

Crypto is not disappearing into finance.

Finance is slowly disappearing into crypto infrastructure.
