They told companies DEI was a liability. That standing up would cost them money. That the only way to survive was to cave. Turns out, that story didn’t hold up. 

Capitulation doesn’t just affect a company’s bottom line. It affects Black workers, Black-owned businesses, and communities that depend on those commitments.

So remember who stood firm. And remember who folded. Our money is our power. Let’s spend it accordingly.
