As a result, many people are looking for opportunities to make a quick buck that don’t require new skills, investment, or a lot of commitment — and finding random things (or bodily fluids) to sell.

“I wouldn’t really call it a side hustle,” says Margo, who works in marketing and makes $300 to $400 a month selling her clean urine to people who needed to pass drug screenings. “It’s not like I’m monetizing a hobby or trying to turn it into a business — I’m just selling something I have because it’s valuable to someone else.”
