🚨 My sincere gratitude to President Donald J. Trump and First Lady Melania Trump for the rare invitation to the White House to celebrate Black History Month. It was an honor to return, having first been there in 2020 when I was guided to pray for our President. 🇺🇸 ✝️ Most importantly, to those affected by Trump Derangement Syndrome and my fellow Christ-followers, I urge you to join me in spirit to pray for our president. This call is not about personal liking, but about obedience to God's Word, which states: “I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people—for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.“ (1 Tim. 2:1-2). To be obstinate in this is rebellion, a matter between you and God. (My prayers extend to all leaders, including RFK, Jr. as a candidate and Joe Biden, a friend of my father's; being Kingdom-minded is not partisan.) So, keep your opinion on my adherence to God's Word to yourself; my fidelity is my burden alone. Now, it's your turn to tell God, 'no, I won’t join Pastor Marc in prayer for President Donald J. Trump.' (And no, the text does not invite an imprecatory prayer. 🙄😭)
