🚨 LIVE tomorrow, August 24th!🚨

On episode #438 of Dave Tate’s Table Talk Podcast, Dave and Tom sit down with Jason Brown.

Jason Brown is the strength & conditioning coach at Jason Brown Coaching and the creator of the Functional Conjugate (Conjugate x Conditioning) system, a training approach that marries Westside Barbell’s Conjugate method with structured aerobic conditioning for everyday athletes who want to be strong, muscular, and durable for the long haul.

A combat veteran and former CrossFit affiliate owner, Jason has been coaching for over 20 years and exclusively online since 2015. At the peak of his first business, Box Programming, more than 100,000 people a day were running his programming through gyms worldwide; today, his system supports 45,000+ athletes.

He’s a Westside Barbell Special Strengths Coach, holds a Master’s in Exercise Science and a CSCS, and is finishing a PhD in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Science.

Jason is the author of “Lower-Body Training” (Human Kinetics), a regular contributor to elitefts and T-Nation, and an NSCA presenter.

In this episode, Dave and Jason get into concurrent training, why conditioning makes you stronger, running Conjugate without a competitive platform, program design, and what it really takes to train hard without breaking down — plus the grind-vs-longevity debate you didn’t know you needed.
