Cincinnati traffic engineers are looking at ways to make Queen City Avenue safer after a car plunged into Mill Creek this past weekend, killing four.

Officials later identified the victims of the Aug. 15 crash as Javae Thomas, 19; DeMarco Tapplar, 22; Demonte Brady, 19; and Khiel Ivory, 21.

Greg Long, interim director for the city's department of transportation and engineering, said in a statement his team is "rapidly responding" to concerns along the stretch of Queen City Avenue between Harrison Avenue and Mill Creek. Long said the road had been identified as a problem spot prior to the Aug. 15 crash.
