the girl in these pics…. you’re seeing a glimpse of 8 year old me - just a little girl watching high school musical for the first time. seeing myself on screen in gabriella - a shy girl who loves school, but maybe is dreaming of something more…

you’re seeing 10 year old me - the little girl who brought her camp rock lunch box to school every day in 5th grade, giggling with her friends over shane gray. cutting out pictures from magazines of the jonas brothers and hanging those up in my room…

you’re seeing 16 year old me - a teenager now, but still jamming to hannah montana on the way to school. teaching myself all the latest kenny ortega dances in my room, having no idea she’d get to thank him in person years down the line. (and that she’d still be doing those same dances in the creator lounge at D23 🤣)

you’re seeing 19 year old me - an adult now, who just moved to walt disney world. documenting her silly adventures in the disney college program… having no idea what was coming next. 

D23 is such a good reminder to me that the Disney magic i felt when i was a kid is still very much alive, but it’s the PEOPLE that bring it to life.
