Milwaukee built @team_javi01 . Now, he's making his mark on the professional stage.

After beginning his boxing journey with Coach Angel Villarreal Jr., Javier captured the 2021 USA Boxing National Championship at 132 pounds and finished as the 2022 National Golden Gloves runner-up before turning professional. Today, he stands undefeated at 12–0, training under world-renowned coach Robert Garcia.

In Episode 6 of the Fiesta Boxing Classic documentary series, Javier reflects on the coaches, mentors, and city that shaped his career, why he believes Milwaukee is one of boxing's most underrated cities, and how the next generation of fighters is carrying that legacy forward.

Having previously competed at the Summerfest Grounds, Javier also shares what it means to see the Fiesta Boxing Classic bring amateur boxing back to one of Milwaukee's most iconic venues.
