If I had £10,000 sitting in savings... here's what I'd do!

I’d keep enough aside so I wasn’t leaving myself exposed if something unexpected came up.

Then I’d look at where that money could work harder.

That could mean investing part of it, learning a skill that could increase my income, or using it to build an asset that has the potential to pay me back over time.

The biggest mistake is thinking £10k means you’ve “made it”.

It’s a strong starting point, but what you do with it next matters far more than simply having it sat there.

Keep some accessible.
Put some to work.
And use some to increase your future earning power.

That’s how I’d think about it.
