There was a stretch where every school morning ended the same way. 

Shoes on, bag packed, and her standing in that hallway, not moving. 

I used to think if I just found the right words, she’d walk through. 

She didn’t need the right words. 
She needed her body to feel safe enough to go first.

My daughter missed over 100 days of school in one school year alone before we understood what was actually happening in that hallway. 

She successfully graduated high school and is now at her first choice university. 

Whatever you’ve already tried, that freeze isn’t proof your child is the exception the advice won’t work for. 

It’s proof nobody’s addressed the alarm yet.
