Story Book 1006: 🪷 Varalakshmi Vratham — beyond the ritual.

Some worship with flowers.
Some fast.
Some light a lamp and pray.
And some women may not perform the Vratham at all.

Does that make one woman more blessed, devoted, or worthy than another? No.

The traditional Varalakshmi Vratham story speaks of Charumati and her devotion. But perhaps the message we can carry into our lives is bigger than the ritual itself.

✨ Prosperity without greed.
✨ Strength without arrogance.
✨ Love without calculation.
✨ Giving without expectation.
✨ Gratitude even on ordinary days.

A puja may last a few hours.
Its values should remain after the lamp goes out.

Whether we celebrate through ritual or simply through the way we live, may we create homes—and hearts—where kindness, dignity, peace and abundance can stay. ❤️

May we not only invite Lakshmi into our homes.
