Come behind the scenes with me, Big Rig, and The Texas Tailgaters for one of the most unforgettable weekends of my season: a two-game set against the Party Animals inside Boise State's stadium, on the famous BLUE TURF.

This one was unreal. We played Banana Ball on the legendary Smurf Turf at Albertsons Stadium, and the amazing crew at Boise State even painted a full infield right onto the blue football field. It looked absolutely insane. Playing inside a 36,000-seat football stadium, in front of a packed, electric crowd, was a bucket-list experience I'll never forget. The energy in Boise was through the roof from first pitch to the final out.

The weekend had a little bit of everything: hazy skies from the Canadian wildfire smoke rolling in, bulletproof mobility work as I keep grinding through my rehab, Banana Ball Backstage with the best fans in sports, fan card giveaways, and two fast-paced games against a Party Animals squad that turned Boise into a home game. We split the series 1 to 1. They got us in game two, but we fought through the heat, put fans first, and have already clinched our playoff spot.

You'll see the full behind-the-scenes experience throughout the weekend: travel, rehearsals, dugout energy, fan interactions, game action, and everything that made this Boise trip one of the most fun stops of the season.

I'm still rehabbing from labrum surgery this season, so my role right now is bringing energy, documenting the journey, and giving you a real behind-the-scenes look at Banana Ball in 2026.
