Come behind the scenes with me, Big Rig, and The Texas Tailgaters for one of the most personal weekends of my season: a three-game set against my former team, the Firefighters, in my hometown of Charlotte, North Carolina.

This one meant everything. We played at Truist Field, the ballpark I grew up coming to for Knights games — I've probably been there 10+ times as a fan, and now I'm on that field in a Tailgaters jersey. Coming back to the 704 to face the team I used to play for, in front of a sold-out hometown crowd, was a full-circle moment I'll never forget. And we made it count: three games, three wins, a clean sweep at home. Kmart even tied the single-season Banana Ball home run record on the way.

You'll see the full behind-the-scenes experience throughout the weekend: travel, rehearsals, dugout energy, fan interactions, game action, a wild penthouse tour, and everything that went into this homecoming trip to Charlotte. This was one of the most meaningful weekends I've had in Banana Ball, and the energy in the Queen City was unreal from start to finish.

I'm still rehabbing from labrum surgery this season, so my role right now is bringing energy, documenting the journey, and giving you a real behind-the-scenes look at Banana Ball in 2026.
