## Caption

✨Creating spaces for elementary students and shaping their childhoods has to be the best part of my job. 

✍️I was tasked to reimagine the library entrance and non-fiction area.

I wanted the doors to be the cover of a story book that is custom to the school we are designing for. Each entrance is curated to a specific audience one targeted towards “older” kids and the other more akin to the littles. 👧👦

From this Entrance was born the library mascot “Feathers”. Who appears throughout the Library for kids to grow up with and remember when they leave. 

📚As for the Non-Fiction area, the client wanted words and phrases to symbolize their school. In the final touches we added wing shaped contour cuts to create the illusion of a eagle spreading its wings.
