Ferrari just helped create a $5,599 laptop, and only 4,999 individually numbered examples will ever be made.

The HP Limited Edition Scuderia Ferrari AI PC was developed with Ferrari Design Studio and takes inspiration directly from the brand’s road and concept cars.

Its CNC-machined aluminum chassis is finished in Rosso Magma, a metallic red closely associated with the Ferrari Daytona SP3.

Carbon fiber, Gorilla Glass and sculpted cooling elements give the machine a much more exotic construction than a typical luxury laptop.

Even the underside is designed almost like an engine bay, exposing parts of the cooling system beneath a transparent panel.

More than 2,000 micro-perforations feed air through the chassis, while the rear louvers take inspiration from Ferrari’s F76 digital concept.

Inside, the current U.S. configuration packs an Intel Core Ultra X7 368H processor, Intel Arc B390 graphics, 64GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD.

The 14-inch OLED touchscreen runs at 2880×1800 resolution and 120Hz, making it a seriously premium display even before you get to the Ferrari details.

There’s also a glass palm rest, illuminated haptic trackpad and individually controlled RGB keyboard lighting.

HP even includes a Poltrona Frau leather sleeve, using material from the same Italian supplier long associated with Ferrari interiors.

At 3.04 pounds, it is more of an ultra-premium collectible productivity machine than a dedicated gaming laptop, especially since there is no discrete GPU.

For Ferrari collectors, though, the numbered production run, Daytona-inspired color and Ferrari-designed hardware details are arguably the entire point.
