THESE AREN’T JUST KEYS… 🔑 

What started as a routine traffic stop in Canyon Country turned into a much different investigation.

Special Assignment Team deputies stopped a vehicle after noticing it had no license plates. While deputies were checking the driver’s information, they discovered she had an active $50,000 warrant.

Deputies searched the vehicle but instead of finding narcotics, they discovered two “bump” keys hidden inside.

These specialized keys can be used to bypass certain locks and gain access to property. The driver was arrested on the active warrant and additionally cited for possession of burglary tools.

Sometimes a simple traffic stop is just the beginning. 🚔
