KD was absolutely UNSTOPPABLE this night 😭🔥 Kevin Durant walked into Toronto and put on one of those performances that reminds you why he’s considered one of the greatest pure scorers basketball has ever seen. 51 POINTS in an absolute thriller against Kawhi Leonard and the Raptors, and Toronto basically threw everything they had at him. Double teams, physical defense, Kawhi picking him up — none of it mattered. 🎯

KD was scoring from EVERYWHERE. Pull-up threes in transition, midrange jumpers over defenders, tough contested shots, drives to the rim, free throws… he had the entire scoring package on display. And the craziest part about watching prime Durant was how effortless he made performances like this look. At nearly 7 feet tall with guard handles, ridiculous length and one of the smoothest jumpers ever, there really wasn’t a correct way to defend him. Play off him and he shoots. Get too close and he blows past you. Send help and he shoots right over it. 😭

And doing this against Kawhi Leonard, one of the greatest perimeter defenders of this generation, makes it even crazier. Kawhi and Toronto were battling all night, but KD just kept answering with bucket after bucket. Two elite superstars going at it in a game that needed overtime to decide a winner. 🍿🔥

This era of KD was DIFFERENT. When he got into one of these zones, you weren’t really trying to stop him anymore — you were just hoping he eventually missed. 51 points in Toronto against a championship-level Raptors team. One of those performances that perfectly showed why guarding Kevin Durant in his prime felt almost impossible.
