Kevin Durant’s scoring consistency is actually ridiculous 😭🔥

In EVERY season of KD’s career where he actually played, he averaged at least 25 PPG… except ONE — his ROOKIE season. Durant came into the league at just 19 years old and averaged 20.3 PPG in 2007-08. After that? He basically decided 25 points a night was the minimum. 💀

From becoming the youngest scoring champion in NBA history, to averaging 32.0 PPG and winning MVP in 2014, to tearing his Achilles and STILL coming back dropping nearly 30 a night in his 30s, KD has been one of the most automatic scorers basketball has ever seen. Different teams, different systems, different eras of his career — the buckets never stopped. 🪣🐐

And that makes his trash talk with Dillon Brooks even crazier 😭 KD once hit Brooks with the legendary line: “My worst season is better than your best season.” Statistically, it’s basically true when it comes to scoring. KD’s rookie year: 20.3 PPG. Brooks’ best scoring season: 20.2 PPG. KD was a teenager still figuring out the NBA and was already producing at that level. 😭

Nearly TWO DECADES later, Durant is still giving teams 25+ a night. That type of longevity as an elite scorer is almost unheard of.

We really might never see another 7-footer with this combination of shooting, handles, efficiency and longevity again. Kevin Durant was born to get buckets. 🐐🎯
