Long before the yellow jersey, Tadej’s family couldn’t even afford cycling equipment. 

The local cycling club had to lend him the bike, the helmet, the shoes almost everything he needed to race.

His parents couldn’t give him the best equipment, so they focused on something they could give him.

The values that stayed with him long after the borrowed bike was returned.
