Lee Dohyun grew up surrounded by climbing. His parents owned a climbing gym, and his father, Lee Chang-hyun coached South Korea’s national climbing team.

Yet for years, Lee only wanted to play football.

His father could have forced the issue. Instead, when Lee started middle school, he invited him on a father-son climbing trip to America.
