Western States is more than a race. It’s a community, a tradition, and 100 miles of history-filled trails that have defined American ultrarunning.  

Suunto is proud to partner with wser again in 2026, as the official watch sponsor and timing support for this year’s race.  

This year Suunto is showing up in even bigger ways than before; from the expo to the community and to the high country and trails: 

📍 Expo (Thursday & Friday before the race): Come find us at Olympic Valley at Palisades Tahoe. We’ll have an experiential booth to learn more about the brand and to experience the story of last year’s champion Abby Hall as she prepares to defend her title. 

📍 Foresthill Aid Station: (Race Day): We’ll be on the course at mile 62, one of the most electric aid stations in ultrarunning, cheering on every single runner who comes through with a custom Suunto pop up! Come find us.

After the race, Team Suunto is heading back into the Sierra Mountain trails to give back. We’re planning to join the Granite Chief Wilderness Re-Route Project — to help build the course that future Western States legends will run. This trail has history and we want to help protect it. 

Western States means everything to this community. We’re honored to be part of it; on the racecourse, at the finish line, and with each of you who make this race possible.
