Not every day on set comes with camera rigs, perfect light, and client reactions that make you tear up.

Some days look like this:
Back behind the bay.
B-rolls stacking.
Color grading on one screen, Christmas tree blinking on the other.

The holidays were amazing—but if you’re a creative, you know the pause always comes with a backlog. And weirdly? I missed it.
Missed the mess of timelines.
Missed the rhythm of the edit.
Missed the magic that hits around hour six when the story finally clicks.

Today’s win: no shoot, no client, no chaos. Just me, the footage, and a quiet space to get back in the zone.

Feels good to be back.
