What a night in Braunschweig! The home side pushed the defending German Cup champions to the very limit, with Stuttgart finally closing it out 8-7 in penalties. The Southkurve lit up with a full fireworks show, Stuttgart’s fans kept the pyro going all match long, and on the pitch we got a reminder of why the DFB-Pokal is such a special competition. German fan culture is simply unmatched. It’s a big part of why I keep coming back.
