## Caption

FC Dallas won the Copa Tejas on Wednesday with a 3-1 victory over Austin FC at Toyota Stadium in Frisco. The game was contentious and physical from the start. Referee Armando Villarreal issued a total of 7 yellow cards, plus Austin attacking midfielder Sebastian Driussi drew a red card after an FC Dallas penalty kick sequence that saw Brad Stuver rebuff a PK attempt only to see Villarreal award Petar Musa a second attempt. Upon scoring on his 2nd try, Dallas players taunted Julio Cascante, drawing yellow cards and resulting in Cascante initially being shown the red. After VAR, the red was instead shown to Driussi, forcing Austin to play a man short for 40 minutes including 2nd half added time.
