The Cedar Park girls basketball team finishes a remarkable playoff run in the Class 5A state semifinals with a 67-45 loss to top-seeded and No. 1 ranked Mansfield Timberview Thursday night, Feb. 29, 2024, at the Alamodome in San Antonio. The Timberwolves reeled off 5 straight playoff wins after finishing just 3rd in their district in the regular season. Unranked in the final Texas Association of Basketball Coaches poll, Cedar Park beat two Top 10 teams in the postseason to reach the state semifinals. 

The game sets up a battle between No. 1 Timberview and No. 2 Frisco Liberty for the 5A state championship on Saturday afternoon.
