I’m behind in posting from the First Responder Bowl here on Insta, so here goes: It took four hours to finish Tuesday's First Responder Bowl, but the Texas State Bobcats got a win in their first-ever bowl appearance, beating Rice 45-21. 

The game itself was exciting at times, but dragged on due to 17 accepted penalties and numerous reviews. Former LSU and Auburn quarterback TJ Finley passed for 152 yards. Though his stats weren't stellar, it was enough when coupled with a strong defensive performance that included five interceptions and two pick sixes as Rice played three different quarterbacks looking for answers and finding none.
