Meet Pedro. The Kid 🦈🇨🇻❤️🇧🇷

A young Brazilian who somehow found a piece of Cabo Verde in his heart.

Some of you may remember Pedro from the video of him learning and singing the Cabo Verde national anthem with so much pride and cuteness.

After seeing that, and later getting the chance to speak with him and his father, I knew I wanted to do something special for him.

So Pedro received his very own official Cabo Verde goalkeeper jersey from the official capellisport store. 🧤🇨🇻

He was the first kid I bought a national team jersey for.
And seeing his reaction brought me back to being a kid myself.

Growing up in Cabo Verde, I used to dream about meeting Ronaldinho, having one of his jerseys, owning a Game Boy — little things that felt enormous when I was young.

Years later, life has taught me how difficult things can be.

But it has also taught me that being in a position to give someone else a moment of happiness is one of the greatest blessings there is.

And maybe that’s what makes Pedro’s story even more special.

A kid from Brazil.
A team from Cabo Verde. fcfcomunica 
Two countries with so much love, history and connection between them.

And one beautiful friendship created through football. 🇧🇷🤝🇨🇻

If we can keep using this platform to make kids smile, build bridges between people, support communities and help wherever we can, then everything we are building means so much more than numbers.
