BREAKING 🚨

With its season complete and funding set to expire, LIV Golf announced Wednesday that it is scaling back operations and terminating a significant number of employees in early September.

In a statement, a spokesperson said the league is optimistic about future funding and expects many of the team and league employees who were let go to return should LIV 2.0 launch. 

The change in workforce was expected as LIV notified employees in July of potential future actions, consistent with labor guidelines in the U.S. and U.K.
