Luke Slabaugh reacts to Alonso’s huge night: three RBIs, a career-high 13-game hitting streak, and his sixth consecutive 30-home-run season. The Polar Bear delivered when Baltimore needed him most after Jackson Holliday’s wild fifth-inning sequence tied the game.

Holliday checked his swing on a 2-2 pitch, initially headed back to the Orioles dugout, then learned the Rays’ appeal at third was unsuccessful. Kevin Cash was ejected, and Holliday immediately made Tampa Bay pay with a game-tying sacrifice fly. Alonso followed with the knockout swing.
