The future of naval aviation isn’t manned OR unmanned aircraft. The future is integrated. 

Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Daryl Caudle highlighted how people are essential to warfighting innovation and dominance during his keynote address last night at the Tailhook Association Naval Aviation Symposium in Reno, Nevada. 

“Artificial intelligence. Autonomous systems. Human-machine teaming. Long-range precision strike. Advanced electronic warfare.  Every one of these technologies will change the way we fight. But none of them will change who wins,” Caudle said.

“The winners will still be the organizations that learn the fastest, trust each other the most, develop the best people, and turn innovation into combat power before anyone else.”
