Active recovery today, and that meant giving the session a very different job than my heavy training days.

I started with 15 minutes on the elliptical at Resistance 1 and Incline 2, then worked through supine 90/90 breathing, ankle dorsiflexion rocks, wall calf stretches, and bent-knee wall calf stretches.

I finished with 25 minutes in the compression boots.

There was nothing here to test, max out, or prove. The entire purpose was to move, recover, and put myself in a better position for the training ahead.

Heavy days are where the numbers move. Days like this help make those days possible.
