This one begins with Justice for Sonita.

Heavy lifting depends on trust. If I am going to document my own progression in strength sports, I also want to be clear about what kind of strength community I want to be part of.

Then comes today's strongman competition prep.

The montage moves through my filmed work from the session: Clean to Push Press building to 155 pounds for a clean plus five presses, Ground Base Jammer Triple Extension Drive at 45 pounds per side, Single Dumbbell to Shoulder up to 100 pounds, and Zercher Carries finishing with 205 pounds for 50 feet.

The 95-pound, 60-second dumbbell set is not in this montage. That one gets its own video.

What interests me most about these Saturdays is how many different expressions of strength are beginning to live in the same session: overhead power, extension, awkward-object work, and moving significant weight across distance.

That is the larger project.

Not simply lifting heavier once.

Becoming capable of more.
