## Caption

The 2nd World Humanoid Robot Games are underway in Beijing from August 22 through 26, and the footage is jaw-dropping in both directions. On one hand, 2,056 robots from 666 teams across 16 countries are competing in 51 events, and a Chinese humanoid called Tiangong Ultra ran the 100-meter sprint in 9.39 seconds, faster than Usain Bolt's 9.58-second human world record. Another robot cleared 2.88 meters in a standing high jump, well above the human world record of 2.45 meters. Robots are playing soccer with Ronaldo-style celebrations, boxing, and dancing. On the other hand, they cannot stop. After crossing the finish line, robots have crashed into padded walls, electrical boxes, and each other, with one machine literally catching fire. It's a stunning window into where humanoid robotics is right now impressive, chaotic, and absolutely worth watching.
