Agriculture systems hold our economies, societies and planet together:

→ Nearly 1.4 billion people were employed across global agrifood systems in 2023.
→ Agriculture, forestry and fishing employed 916 million people, around 26.1% of global employment.
→ Agriculture accounts for around 70% of global freshwater withdrawals.
→ Agrifood systems generate roughly one-third of global human-made greenhouse gas emissions.

These are some of the questions we will explore at the Peregrine Falcon Roundtable on AgriTech, bringing together perspectives across investment, agriculture, technology and global business.
